Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative: Clean Technology Innovation Grant
- Purpose: Provides funding to support the growth of clean technology manufacturing in NSW, with a focus on developing new low emission technologies and building local manufacturing capacity for critical low carbon products
- Funding for: Projects covering technology development, construction of specific testing infrastructure, prototyping, product verification, demonstration and deployment, front end engineering design (FEED) and technical feasibility studies, that stimulate local manufacturing of renewable energy generation, storage and transmission components
- Eligibility: Eligible small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), technology developers, innovators, start-ups, research organisations and academia with a spin-out company. See the eligibility checker to see if your meet the requirements
- Funding amount: Grants ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000 per project
- Deadline: 08 September 2026
SME Industrial Decarbonisation Fund
- Purpose: Helps small-to-medium sized Australian manufacturers reduce their direct greenhouse gas emissions by switching from fossil fuel powered processes to electric alternatives
- Funding for: Projects covering renewable energy assessments, employee training and certification, power supply upgrades, regulatory compliance for facility upgrades, and capital equipment enabling a transition from fossil fuel to electrification, including surface treatment, process steam and metals processing applications
- Eligibility: Eligible Australian-incorporated SMEs (up to 200 employees) with an ACN and ABN, non-tax-exempt and registered for GST, able to meet a co-investment of at least 50% (cash) of the project’s total eligible cost. See the merit criteria for full eligibility requirements
- Funding amount: Grants ranging from $400,000 to $1,000,000 per project
- Deadline: 31 December 2027
Cyber Security Uplift Program Grant
- Purpose: Supports eligible Allied Health and General Practices to strengthen their basic cyber security through practical improvements focused on the systems and technology they already use
- Funding for: A cybersecurity consultant engagement (valued at $10,000 ex GST) to support implementation of a cybersecurity framework (SMB1001), covering areas such as staff and administrator accounts, devices, email security, firewalls, multi-factor authentication, password management, software patching, data backups, access controls and relevant policies and procedures
- Eligibility: Eligible Allied Health and General Practices with a valid ABN, operating within the Hunter New England and Central Coast region, with practice owner support and readiness to engage with the cybersecurity consultant, have Microsoft 365 Business Premium in place, and provide a co-payment of $200 ex GST. - Funding amount: $10,000 (consultant support value) per practice
- Deadline: Closes 11 September 2026
$1,000 SafeWork Small Business Rebate
- Purpose: Helps NSW small businesses purchase eligible safety items to make workplaces safer by managing or eliminating hazards and risks that may cause serious injury, illness or death
- Funding for: Reimbursement for new eligible safety items, including anti-slip, trip and fall-prevention controls, workplace lighting, traffic management and isolated-worker equipment, lifting and manual-handling equipment, machinery and vehicle safety equipment, and controls for hazardous noise, chemicals, dust and sun exposure. The rebate applies only to items on SafeWork NSW’s eligible safety items list
- Eligibility: Eligible small business owners and sole traders with an ABN (0–50 FTE), and charities/not-for-profits (1–50 FTE), operating in NSW for at least 6 months, who have completed an eligible SafeWork NSW education activity in the past 12 months and haven’t received this rebate in the previous 5 years. - Funding amount: Up to $1,000 per business
