NSW Run My Way Grant Program 2026/27 

• Purpose: Supports projects that make running safer, more welcoming and inclusive running by improving perceptions of safety, reducing barriers to participation and increasing participation and retention 

• Funding for: Community-led projects that improve safety and inclusion in running, strengthen running organisations and build participation 

• Eligibility: Projects must be delivered in NSW and completed by 31 December 2027 with a primary operational presence in NSW. See eligibility criteria for more information.
• Funding amount: Funding from $5,000 to $100,000 
• Deadline: 14 September 2026, 1pm (ACT local time)

NSW Facilities Fund

• Purpose: Supports projects that have a positive impact on AFL participation and experience
• Funding for: Facility and infrastructure projects such as new ovals and amenities, all gender changerooms, playing surface upgrades, climate-resilience programs and more
• Eligibility: Local government authorities in NSW, all affiliated Australian Football Clubs in NSW, NSW-based schools, and other stakeholders invested in building facility capacity and growing the game. See Facilities Fund Guidelines for more information.
• Funding amount: $10,000 to $50,000
• Deadline: 30 September 2026

WA Golf Foundation Grants Program

• Purpose: Supports programs and projects that develop golf in Western Australia, with a focus on junior and adult development, school programs, and improving access for women, people with disability, Indigenous people and disadvantaged or regional communities.
• Funding for: Junior and adult development programs, disability and disadvantaged-community initiatives regional academies, coaching and travel costs, equipment, and innovative participation projects.
• Eligibility: Golf clubs, district golf associations, golfing organisations, public golf facilities, schools, local governments and other organisations developing golf in WA. See WAGF Funding Guidelines for more information..
• Funding amount: Project-based, no overall maximum stated (equipment purchases up to $1,500; Junior Girls Scholarship supplement up to $2,000; coaching and travel caps apply)
• Deadline: 1 October 2026

People First Community Lottery 

• Purpose: Provides local sporting clubs, schools, charities, volunteer groups, and other not for profit organisations with an opportunity to raise funds through community lottery ticket sales 

• Funding for: Sporting activities, equipment, programs and other community initiatives 

• Eligibility: Local sporting clubs, schools, charities, volunteer groups and other not-for-profit community groups across Australia can participate. Groups will need an ABN and bank account details to complete the registration process. See terms and conditions for more information. 

• How it works: The groups must register through the Funding Provider’s website and complete the group registration form, within 2–3 business days once approved, the group’s fundraising page will be created on the People First Community Lottery website  

• Funding amount: 700,000 tickets available for sale at $2 per ticket, there are 41 prizes on offer for the People First Community Lottery, worth more than $300,000 
• Deadline: 15th October 2026
